The Dallas Flea was founded in 2009 by lifestyle editor Brittany Cobb. Throughout her writing career at The Dallas Morning News, Forbes and DailyCandy, Cobb encountered countless artisans and small businesses looking for unique and affordable platforms to promote their wares.
With her editor’s eye and deep love for flea markets, Cobb cultivated a curated mix of vendors and launched The Dallas Flea as a one-time holiday shopping event. The show’s success proved that the Texas talent and marketplace was ready for this distinctive indoor event offering antique, vintage, handmade and one-of-a-kind items.
Today, The Dallas Flea is a seasonal, upscale market that attracts 5,000-plus shoppers.  Each show features up to 100 booths offering fashion, furniture, art, home décor, clothing, jewelry, children’s items, dog gear, food and more.
The Dallas Flea has garnered local and national exposure from D Magazine to Martha Stewart and Vogue. The show was dubbed one of the 25 best flea markets in America by Romantic Homes magazine.
In 2015, The Dallas Flea left its original SouthSide on Lamar location for a 20,000 square foot space in Dallas’ thriving Trinity Groves neighborhood to expand the show’s size and popularity and make it a treasured national event.

Heroes and Handbags is THE Signature event for Heroes for Children. The event features a seated brunch and silent auction of vintage one-of-a-kind and new designer handbags.
