HP Byron Nelson.....Party between Putts

Its that time again Boys & Girls! The 46th HP Byron Nelson Championship will be played at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Las Colinas May 12-19, 2013. (I know I know like you did not know this already.) As Dallas socialites we are bred for these seven days, I know that I was, as a little girl. I remember going with my father every year to the Byron Nelson, enjoying my Dad's company private villa drinking Shirley Temples under the shade. Now my Shirley Temples are spiked with Vodka....and the HP Byron Nelson Tournament is even better then it was then. The Byron Nelson to some is all about Golf to others its the see and be seen place to be.

A little Tidbit about Byron Nelson.....In 1945 Byron Nelson won 11 tournaments in a row and still holds the record for the most consecutive wins on the PGA Tour. Also the Byron Nelson is not just a tournament but but also a Charity. The funds raised at the HP Byron Nelson Championship enable Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers to serve more then 7,000 children and family members. Byron Nelson once stated, "This tournament is the best thing that has ever happened to me in Golf. Better than winning the Masters or the U.S Open or eleven in a row-because it helps people."

HP also has announced a little change for this year....they are introducing the Exclusive New Capital One Clubhouse  Sounds pretty VIP to me, and we love us some VIP here in Dallas. This ticket is going for $150

and will feature premier covered seating featuring an exclusive viewing experience of two signature holes No. 17 and No.18. The VIP Hospitality suite will include free (yes I said free) soft drinks, beer and water. Upgraded concession food will also be available for purchase. The parking is included with this pass at the Nelson general public parking....I will definitely be checking this one out. Regular admission tickets are also available for $45 and this includes an all day pass. There is something for everyone, its not just another stop on the PGA Tour and the best opportunity for seeing the next generation of golf legends emerge. Its a PARTY THAT PAUSES BETWEEN PUTTS" It is Dallas, TX seven best days of the year. Also Guys & Dolls a chance to do something out of your normal entertainment rut. So get out there!
