What are Little Girls Made of.....Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice

As a busy mommy that is always on the move with twin boys, a design/marketing company and a Corporate job. I am always on the look for awesome treats for my little ones, that are quick to make and fun to enjoy. Sunday is usually our family time to chill (if that is what you call it) This morning I woke up with a light bulb! Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Donuts duh! Quick, Easy and Awesome! Check out Below the How To, I promise Mom & Dad you will enjoy, and the kiddos will to!

What you will need
-Biscuits (I used Buttermilk)
-Cinnamon
-Sugar
-Cooking Oil
-A Glass of Ice Cold Milk (duh)

1.  Open your can of Biscuits-you don't have to use the entire can because you are pinching off a little from each whole biscuit. I actually only used 4 whole biscuits. After they are pinched roll them in the palm of your hand like they are little meatballs. Moms they do not have to perfect. I like my looking a little crazy and being different sizes.

2. Measure 2 cups of white sugar in a mixing cup and pour your measured sugar into a mixing bowl.  As for your Cinnamon you can use as much as you like or as little. Whatever you or your little ones desire. We are quite a spicy bunch so we used a lot of Cinnamon :-)

3. Place your cooking oil in skillet and place on medium heat. Note-It doesn't take long for your grease to get hot. About 5-7 minutes after you have heated your oil place your cute little pinched rolled dough into the hot oil. (PLEASE BE CAREFUL)

4. Let your donut holes brown all the way around. Constantly turning and moving around the skillet. You will start to see them expand and turn into a delicious golden brown color. When you see this you know you are doing the job right.

5. Once you have a cute mini golden brown donut holes, pick them up with your spoon not carrying too much grease over and placing in your mixed sugar and cinnamon. I used a spatula to evenly cover the donut holes. So toss away and then place in your desired bowl where they can cool for a second.

6. Remember just like Shipley's Donuts....all Donuts are more awesome when served warmed. Make sure you have your ice cold glass of milk poured as well.  Enjoy Guys & Dolls!!!
